PMGT690 ePortfolio Examples

Welcome

This page is the gateway to a few example portfolios for PMGT 690, the project management capstone course for the Embry Riddle Aeronautical University Master's Programs in the project management programs MSPM and PMGT.

The project management portfolio is the opportunity for students to display their mastery of project management to their instructors, fellow classmates, co-workers, employers, potential employers, family and friends by providing evidence of what they have learned and accomplished during their PMGT coursework.  It is considered the Capstone achievement for Embry Riddle Aeronautical University's PMGT program and upon successful completion students are conferred with their Master of Science degree in Project Management.

These portfolios were created based on the PMBOK 5th Edition as example organizational approaches for students to follow in creating their portfolios.  Three different portfolios are provided in the links below, demonstrating three different ways of organizing the content, although students should feel free to explore their own organizational approaches that are consistent with the PMBOK.  Example 1 is organized with the five PMBOK Process Groups in the navigation menu, and each of those five pages containing all the related PMBOK processes.  Example 2 places each of the PMBOK processes on a separate page, nested under the appropriate Process Groups in the navigation menu.  Example 3 organizes the PMBOK processes by knowledge area, also nested under the appropriate process groups. Students are also encouraged to personalize their portfolios with their own experiences, anecdotes, graphics and photographs.

Portfolio Example 1: Organized by individual pages for each PMBOK Process Group.

Portfolio Example 2: Organized by individual pages for each of the 47 PMBOK processes, by Process Group.

Portfolio Example 3: Organized by individual pages for each PMBOK Knowledge Area, by Process Group.
